It’s that pollen filter time again.

Posted on 17th April 2018

Spring is finally here, and the weather is, apparently, warming up.

Many hay fever sufferers are already feeling the effects of tree pollen and the forecast for 17th April was for high pollen counts pretty much everywhere.

Pollen by Zac Durant - contamination for an air intake filter screen

Every cloud usually has a silver lining but the pollen count increases with the temperature of the warmer weather as grass and weed pollen hit the air in May and June.

70% of a cooling coils performance is generated from the fins which, as they draw air in, will get clogged causing performance to reduce dramatically at a time when we need maximum efficiency.

Increasing pollen count reduces the life of disposable air filters and motors work harder to achieve the same airflow performance.

Isn’t it about time you started thinking about intake protection. Stop the contamination before it reaches your equipment and improve efficiency by keeping coils clean and filters cleaner.

The unique air intake filter screen from RAB Specialist Engineers and RABScreen is all you need.Bespoke sizes available up to 150 square metres
