Air Intake Screen Accessories &  Fixings

Also known as hook and loop this simple fixing method uses a stitched hook section on the vinyl border. A section of the self-adhesive loop is attached to the unit and enables the RABScreen  air intake filter screen to be fitted securely in position. Only recommended for internal installations.

On smaller external condensers we use our Wrap Around RABScreen  which is then secured with a bungee cord.  This makes the RABScreen  air intake filter screen easy to fit and remove for maintenance. No specialist skills required. Perfect for smaller condenser units.

The RABScreen  air intake screens can be mounted in a metal frame to aid installation into filter banks and air handling units.  Pressed steel, folded steel, aluminium and profiled sections are available but we normally recommend galvanised steel or stainless steel. Just ask the question if you want something different for your filter screen. Great for cooling coil protection


 

Sewing a pocket into the vinyl border allows for the insertion of a magnetic strip. An easy fix for your RABScreen  air intake filter screen against a magnetic surface. Can be fitted in less than a minute. 

Using a combination of framed air intake sceens and our profiled slide bed we can produce an easy to remove and maintain RABScreen   engineered industrial hvac mesh filter for your "V" coil chillers.

On screen sizes less than 0.65m2 we glue a magnetic strip to the framework of the air intake filter screen. With expanded metal support this rigid screen is perfect for smaller intakes on compressors and electrical panels. As long as you have a 13mm wide steel key for the magnet to attach to then there is no easier way to fit and remove your RABScreen . Installed in 30 seconds.

Nylon 66 fittings manufactured by StayPut™ to provide an easy lock and release fixing style. Supplied with 9.5mm grommet RABScreen  air intake filter screens.   

RABScreen   Air Intake Filter Screen deployment system offers both manual and automatic operation. Sturdily engineered and made in the UK the automatic system and track mounted coil screens can be linked to a weather station for temperature and wind velocity activation. Also available with our unique winter shields where wind chill is a factor on cooling towers

The RABScreen  bonnet sock is designed to fit over circular fan guards to provide a washable, weather-resistant filter on all cooling fans. Manufactured with an elasticated edge or drawstring we can also provide cutouts for electric motors.  Also available are the disposable Fan Shrouds for smaller free standing fan applications. 

The new RABScreen Continuous Attachment System comprises of easy-to-fit aluminium profiles which can be mounted in a continuous rail of any length. The border of the air intake screen slides into the female profile. It is designed for use with the RABScreen  2 tonne 50mm webbing straps and ratchets to produce a tensioned air intake screen. Using our RABScreen  continuous attachment system will make it possible to install a 12m long filter system in just over 15 minutes.Click the picture for more information

Our standard border is 32mm wide and manufactured using a high-quality marine vinyl for maximum life expectancy. Sewn with a marine quality thread this border far exceeds the requirements for routine HVAC applications. Tested up to and including 100mph face velocity without failure. We also provide a 19mm vinyl border. Both supplied with, or without, grommets as required. Dual ply filters also available. Great for cooling coil protection

The 50mm wide, heat bonded border is available where larger filters are required and is fitted with either the Keder profile or 16mm grommets. This border is also available for use with the DHD deployment system, ratchet tensioning or simple drill and fix. No grommets are required for the drill and fix option.
